Was a last minute decision to come to Crystsl Mall for lunch .  I got off work early and had lots of time to kill before picking up my son from camp.

I ordered the haianese chicken rice dish that also came with a drink!!  I got the iced milk tea and surprised total was $9.80. It was very reasonable. (No extra charge  for getting a COLD drink like some places) My meal was supper filling and DELICIOUS!
It did take a bit longer than I expected for my order because the lady at the register was busy taking customer's order instead of calling out paid customers order.  My dish was sitting on the counter so I had to go and ask if that's mine. She was quite nice about it, got the missing drink to complete the order , thanked for patience etc .. something I don't usually expect from a food court AND an Asian run business.
Overall it was a good experience ordering from here.  I will return if in the area .

Despite the negative reviews for Bubble Waffle Cafe, my experience with the food stall has been positive for the last dozen times I've been here.

I've got to say that their egg waffles are my favourite item on their menu. The egg waffles I have had in the past were mushy, cold, or too dense. I find that the bubble waffles here were light and had a nice crunchy shell on the outside, making it a delicious snack. It seemed to have changed a bit from the last time I had visited them as I believe they used to add vanilla extract to the batter making the waffles smell and taste amazing.

A good deal here is to get a bowl of noodles which is customizable in terms of the broth, toppings, and noodles as a bubble waffle is just $1 extra. The noodles is great, but not mind-blowing.

I've also tried their Hainanese chicken with rice combo. It's more on the expensive side but it's worth it. The chicken is really silky and the rice was nicely done. It came with condiments such as sweet chilli sauce and green onion oil. The cold lemon tea was delicious and refreshing, an absolutely must-try for summer days.

Came with a discount coupon which gave us two noodles, two drinks and one side dish. We did a make your own noodle with ramen, The noodles themselves were well cooked and al dente but there were hardly any toppings and the soup had no flavour at all. for the other, we got the mixed rice noodle (with fish balls and cheong fun) which was not so good with frozen products that were heated up and served with some sauce (not enough either...) and finally a reheated, mushy takoyaki for our side dish. For the drinks, it was a very limited choice so we went with lemon tea and it was decent.

Overall, the price of the coupon was really good (around $15) but i don't think i would eat this at a food court with so many other options.

DH & I were here on a Saturday afternoon.
I ordered the Hainanese Chicken with chicken soup.
The chicken was boneless & it was a good size portion.
The chicken was tender, a bit salty for my taste, but filling and the soup tasted good.
I think the chicken is one of the better values.
    I would order it again.

It's been a while since I've been here so maybe the chef has changed or management. I used to live coming here as the standards are usually pretty good amongst the restaurants. I ordered a laksa noodle with pork jowl and cuttlefish balls. That's pretty much my usual order. Today's meal was subpar tbh. The flavour of the laksa wasn't as rich and flavourful as before and the quality of food seemed to have diminished a little since the last time. Could just have been an off day for them? I do see that they're always training new people at the till when I eat at crystal mall so maybe it's just a big turnaround of employees at the moment? I will be back as I do enjoy the food and it's a good deal for all the food but it won't be my first choice.
